Carolina Trace Fire Department to Provide Home for First Health Ambulance

The Carolina Trace Fire Department is proud to announce a partnership with First Health of the Carolinas that will “mean decreased response times and better patient care in emergency situations,” according to Chief Chris Meyers. Beginning on October 1, 2021, First Health will be providing emergency medical services to the citizens of Lee County. One of First Health’s four ambulances that will be serving Lee County will be housed at the Carolina Trace Fire Department twenty-four hours a day, as part of an approach to place units in strategic positions around the county, to improve response times.


Fire Board Elections


The fire department Board of Directors election was held on October 5th, In accordance with Carolina Trace Fire Department By-Laws. Warren Keyser, John Rzycki and William Zimmer were elected to each serve three year terms on our board of directors. We would like to welcome them to our department.
